30 Seconds to Mars concert
Here comes the story about the 30 Seconds to Mars concert in Lisbon. They have dropped their new album “America” on the 6th of April and are currently on the European Monolith tour. I am for sure not the biggest fan of the band. I can talk about it for an hour or so, more about Jared Leto because of his vivid public image in comparison to his brother Shannon who is also a drummer or guitarist Tomo. Generally it is hard to find something about Jared Leto which is not likable, probably this is the reason why he decided to grow a shapeless spongy beard. Who am I to judge, nobody knows what I am going to do with my appearance when I am 46 years old. Some random facts about Jared Leto from the top of my head. He has visited the protest camp in Maidan. He had a side-role in the movie “Fight Club”. The mood of the narrator going to fight Leto’s character was referred to as “I wanted to destroy something beautiful” in the book. Although considered attractive by public Jared’s English Wikipedia page doesn’t have a personal life section. He is vegan.
I had a pleasure to be at “Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams Tour” concert in Vienna in 2014. I remember buying a ticket and thinking of it at the times I was feeling low. I remember standing in the endless queue for the entrance about 6 hours long mostly with women whose age would vary from 16 to 45. One girl standing next to the stage fainted right before the concert started and had been carried away by the body guard. And then there was this moment when Jared would ask from the stage which country is the flag from one of the girls was holding high and I yelled Lebanon so loud he could hear me. Never before I have been so proud of my flag knowledge and yelling capabilities.
Now I am the owner of the ticket to their concert again. Too bad the concert on 10th of April in Lisbon was canceled and moved to September. My guess is that this happened because of the rain as the arena seems to be an open space. Seriously, what’s wrong with you, rain, seriously?! By some miracle I bought cancellation insurance with the ticket and even have my money transferred back to me.
